Our CCCA SLOT team imageTripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith and Director Mike Egan will be in attendance at the California Contract Cities Association’s (CCCA) Annual Sacramento Legislative Tour from January 8-10, 2024.

CCCA hosts many learning and networking events every year that allow members opportunities to network with other government agencies and local officials. The Sacramento Legislative Tour (SLOT) is a particularly special event because it empowers CCCA members to connect directly with state leaders and legislators right in the heart of California’s capitol to share real stories about the issues affecting their communities.

CCCCA logoombined, Mike and Ryder have been attending the Sacramento Legislative Tour for a total of three decades.

“No matter how often I attend SLOT, I always find myself impressed with CCCA and the experiences they provide,” said Ryder. “This event is important for Tripepi Smith, as well as other city staffers and city council members, as it brings the policy hawks in CCCA’s membership together to focus on opportunities and risks that Sacramento is presenting to local government in the coming legislative session.”

Tripepi Smith is a Platinum Associate Member of CCCA and has supported the Association over the years with website support, video production, social media management, strategic planning and more.

About California Contract Cities Association (CCCA)

California Contract Cities Association (CCCA) is a collection of member cities united for a common cause. Born in 1958 as the direct result of the “Lakewood Plan”, CCCA grew from eight contracting or member cities to 70 member cities today with more than 7 million residents.

Believing that our strength is in our numbers, membership growth remains one of the main priorities of the association. The general purpose of the CCCA is to serve as a rallying point for cities contracting for municipal services to ensure our constituents the best service at the minimum cost. Through municipal seminars, education, exchange of ideas and information, our association combines resources to influence policy decisions affecting our member cities.
