Ryder Todd Smith Speaks at the Cal Cities City Leaders Summit
Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith is attending the League of California Cities (Cal Cities) City Leaders Summit in Sacramento from April 17-19, 2024.
This annual Cal Cities event provides a forum for local government leaders to advocate for and influence policies affecting their communities. State legislators join participating city officials to contribute insights and perspectives on topics ranging from leadership to high-priority issues facing cities today. In addition, the conference fosters networking opportunities to connect with legislators and build relationships with those in the local government realm.
On April 18 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Ryder will be moderating the session, “AB 764 Changed the Rules (Again): Prepare Now for Districting and Redistricting”. The session panel will feature experts National Demographics Corporation President Douglas Johnson and Nielsen Merksamer’s Christopher Skinnell. They will share their insights on legislative changes and court rulings affecting redistricting and district formation work in California cities.
