Tripepi Smith Develops Interactive Map For Rancho Mirage Energy Authority Showing Where The CCA Sources Renewable Energy
California Choice Energy Authority (CalChoice) tapped Tripepi Smith to develop a new resource for one of its associate members, Rancho Mirage Energy Authority (RMEA).
RMEA wanted to create a tool that would promote transparency and educate their customers about where their power comes from, and Team TS responded to the call by creating an interactive map. The map displays the geographic locations and generation capacities of each long-term renewable energy facility currently serving RMEA customers.
“It’s important that our residents and businesses know where their clean energy comes from,” said Jason Caudle, CalChoice Executive Director. “Tripepi Smith has extensive knowledge of the CCA sector and a team of innovative developers, so they were the natural choice for creating this important resource to increase transparency for our customers.”
Senior Business Analyst Sara Madsen led the project and used interactive hotspot technology to develop the map. Senior Business Analyst Karen Villaseñor assisted by brainstorming ideas for the innovative solution and providing project oversight.
