The City of San Fernando Calls on Tripepi Smith to Draft 2022 Annual Report
For its 2022 Annual Report, the City of San Fernando called on Tripepi Smith to create a clear and multifaceted summary of the past year, from financial accomplishments to infrastructural innovations.
“Our Annual Report reflects not only the many goals our City Council set for our City but reminds the reader just how much progress we have made in the past year. We established a new housing division and a Homeless Action Plan, built environmentally conscious infrastructure, and awarded grants to dozens of local small businesses,” said San Fernando City Manager Nick Kimball. “The public should know about how their city is investing in their community and Tripepi Smith’s breadth of talent – project management, writing and design – helped us assemble a complete story that provides a visually compelling milestone about the progress of San Fernando while informing our community.”
Among its highlights, the report noted improved community engagement and outreach through the City’s modernization efforts, such as the introduction of the city’s first digital Community Survey where residents could voice their priorities directly. With that modernization top of mind, Tripepi Smith designed the report to be brand-aligned, including graphics from community outreach projects and photos of San Fernando landmarks. The Tripepi Smith team also prepared a Spanish version of the report, leveraging bilingual Tripepi Smith teammates to complete the translation.
Tripepi Smith Business Analyst Kevork Kurdoghlian led the project, along with support from teammates, Director Amy Conrad and Senior Business Analyst Saara Lampwalla.
“Communicating the City’s accomplishments with the public is an important component to maintaining public trust while also educating residents on critical issues that affect the future of their city,” said Kevork. “The Annual Report outlines several important local developments in a way that’s accessible to everyone. Transparency is a key goal for San Fernando, and this report is an example of intent.”
