Tripepi Smith to Attend and Speak at CCCA’s Annual Municipal Seminar
Team Tripepi Smith will show up in full force to the California Contract Cities Association (CCCA) Annual Municipal Seminar with seven team members in attendance. President Ryder Todd Smith, Directors Jennifer Fitzgerald and Jennifer Vaughn, Senior Business Analyst Saara Lampwalla, Business Analysts Sara Madsen and Kaetlyn Hernandez, and Junior Business Analyst Nolan Voge will be in Indian Wells from May 12-15, 2022.
To kick off the event, Ryder will be sharing his social media and communication expertise on a panel on Friday, May 13 at 11:20 a.m. He will join the City of Cudahy’s Mayor Pro-Tem Jose Gonzalez, Facebook’s U.S. Politics and Government Outreach Representative Adán Chavez and the City of Lakewood’s Director of Communication Bill Grady for the session entitled “Strengthening Your Social Media Presence: Tips from the Experts.”
“Although COVID was the catalyst for many public agencies to look to social media as their main communication platform due to limited in-person interaction, it remains an important tool that public agencies must cultivate to truly engage their residents,” said Ryder. “I am excited to share my thoughts on how public agencies, particularly contract cities, can use social media tools to benefit their residents and community engagement strategies.”
Tripepi Smith is a Platinum Associate Member of CCCA, and has assisted the organization on several projects, including: developing a new website, providing strategic planning facilitation, video production, photography and media outreach.
The sessions throughout CCCA’s 2022 Annual Municipal Seminar focus on “strength through collaboration,” with session topics ranging from strategic partnerships in workforce development and retention, modern water infrastructure, and building better communities together during California’s housing crisis. About California Contract Cities Association (CCCA)
California Contract Cities Association (CCCA) is a collection of member cities united for a common cause. Born in 1958 as the direct result of the “Lakewood Plan,” CCCA grew from eight contacting or member cities to 70 member cities today with more than 7 million residents. Believing that our strength is in our numbers, membership growth remains one of the main priorities of the association. The general purpose of the CCCA is to serve as a rallying point for cities contracting for municipal services so that we ensure our constituents the best service at the minimum cost. Through municipal seminars, education, exchange of ideas and information, our association combines resources to influence policy decisions affecting our member cities.
