Yucca Valley State of the Town 2023 VideoIn October 2023, the Town of Yucca Valley tapped Tripepi Smith to deliver a 7-minute video for their State of the Town address on December 5, 2023. This visual recap highlighted the many achievements of Yucca Valley over the past year and shared a community message from then-Mayor Rick Denison.

Tripepi Smith Director Cameron Grimm took the lead on the project with support from Business Analyst Skyler Addison, videographer Ethan de la Peña and drone operator Josh Hernandez. Together, they developed a script and shot list and conducted a one-day video shoot in Yucca Valley, capturing the Mayor’s message, drone and video footage of well-known community spots.

“Tripepi Smith has supported the Town’s communications over the past three years,” shared Town Manager Curtis Yakimow. “It was a pleasure to have creative support to showcase the many exciting updates from the past year. Their team is efficient, detail-oriented and personable, which makes it easy for Town staff, elected officials and valued members of our community to be involved in the filming.”

The video serves as a summary of the year and provides visual examples of the progress made in 2023. The State of the Town address marks the second year that Tripepi Smith has provided this creative support.

“It’s always a pleasure to help the Yucca Valley team execute a creative project,” said Cameron. “The Town has so many beautiful locations and accomplishments to share. I’m proud that our team worked efficiently with the Town to capture Yucca Valley in a way that supports the Town’s goals throughout 2023 and the years ahead.”

The State of the Town video can be viewed on their website.
