January 30, 2015 – TSA Founder and President Ryder Todd Smith joined a panel yesterday at the League of California Cities City Manager Department Meeting in San Francisco. The panel was titled “Executive Strategies for Internet Communication Success.”

Along with moderator Wade McKinney (CCMF President and City Manager of Indian Wells), and fellow panelists Brian Lewton (State Board President, MISAC), and Tracy Robinson (Administrative Services Director, Lafayette), Smith explored how communities are leveraging Internet technology to tell their stories in cost effective ways.

Specifically, the group discussed steps for upgrading municipal websites, protecting reputations online, creating platforms for City Managers, and the fundamentals of Internet security.

“There’s so much opportunity these days for cities to embrace technology in their communications,” said Smith. “This panel was a great chance to engage with the City Manager community and talk through some of the many options available.”
