TSA President to Speak at Stanford for California Local Governance Summer Institute
On July 26, Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith will join Brian Moura, Senior Advisor for Regional Government Services Authority, and Karen Watkins, Planning Manager for San Bernardino County, to discuss how city and county staff can effectively engage their communities.
Ryder will speak about social media best practices on the panel, which will also cover the importance of public engagement as well as San Bernardino County’s public engagement success story.
“It is an honor to be invited to speak at Stanford and address the attendees of the Local Governance Summer Institute. As a lead voice for social media use by public agencies, Tripepi Smith knows we have a role to play to give back to the broader local government community and share our lessons learned with local government leaders and professionals. That is exactly why we jump at the chance to speak at conferences and programs,” said Ryder. “The goal is to shed light on strategies and tactics that these folks can take home and implement in their communities.”
