TSA Joins City IT Managers at MISAC Annual Conference

newMISACLogoTSA President Ryder Todd Smith and Senior Business Analyst Jon Barilone attended the Municipal Information System Association of California (MISAC) Annual Conference in Monterey October 4 – 6. Tripepi Smith’s presence at the conference addressed two key areas of engagement with California’s leading municipal information technology community. First, Tripepi Smith promoted MuniTech Academy, a joint venture educational initiative launched with MISAC earlier this year to drive low cost, high quality education in information technology with the local governments community. Second, Tripepi Smith was supporting MISAC marketing and communication efforts as an extension of Tripepi Smith’s ongoing communications consulting role with MISAC.

The MISAC Annual Conference is the largest gathering of local government information technology professional in the State of California. Over 400 people gathered in Monterey, CA for three days of learning and networking. This year’s conference hit record attendance as agencies seek to enhance their technical prowess and empower the talent working inside their agencies. The Conference ended with the annual CIO Bootcamp, designed to enhance the professionalism, analytical framework and leadership skills of IT managers.
