Tripepi Smith Produces Membership Recruitment Video for California City Management Foundation, Boosting Membership and Highlighting Association’s Value and Advantages
In February 2023, the California City Management Foundation (CCMF) partnered with Tripepi Smith to create an engaging membership recruitment video, resulting in a surge of signups and sponsorship support. CCMF is dedicated to advancing excellence in city management and providing support to administrators across the state. Tripepi Smith undertook this project during the League of California Cities City Manager Conference in Carlsbad.
“We are thrilled with the outcome of the video and privileged to highlight the various benefits of being a member of our organization,” said CCMF Executive Director Ken Pulskamp. “Tripepi Smith’s professionalism and efficiency allowed us to achieve an incredible marketing product, even amidst the conference’s busy schedule.”
During the conference, Tripepi Smith conducted interviews with over 14 city managers from different regions in California. These interviews showcased firsthand experiences and insights, highlighting the advantages of CCMF membership. Members discussed why they joined and how CCMF helped them achieve personal and community goals. Prospective members were drawn to these testimonials, which emphasized the resources, networking opportunities and professional development offered by the association.
Director Jennifer Vaughn, Business Analyst Charlie Mounts and Junior Business Analyst Kayla Cao led the project, coordinating interviews and conducting them with state leaders. Business Analyst Nolan Voge and Junior Business Analyst John Balliet contributed to filming and post-production editing.
Tripepi Smith’s support for CCMF extends beyond this project, spanning over 15 years. The team has built the CCMF website, provided administrative support for key initiatives, delivered weekly news summaries on the profession and executed various communications initiatives on behalf of the Foundation.
“We had a great collaboration with CCMF on this video project, and we look forward to continuing our work on exciting initiatives in the upcoming program year,” said Jennifer. “Being able to collaborate with CCMF is a privilege, given their unwavering dedication to offering exceptional support and invaluable resources, benefiting our California city managers.”
