Tripepi Smith to Attend ICA Summer Seminar
Business Analyst Karen Villasenor and Junior Business Analyst Kaetlyn Hernandez are making their way to Santa Barbara, CA for Independent Cities Association’s (ICA) 62nd annual Summer Seminar from August 26, 2021 to August 29, 2021.
“After participating in the Winter Seminar this past February, I have seen that ICA provides city council members, city officials and agencies with great opportunities to connect, collaborate and share insights on timely topics, and I’m excited to take part in that again this August,” commented Kaetlyn.
Tripepi Smith is an Ultimate-level sponsor of ICA and previously attended the 2021 virtual Winter Seminar. As a component of Tripepi Smith’s sponsorship of ICA, Senior Business Analyst Melanie James modernized the website for ICA and continues to provide technical support. Her work will continue with a redesign of the entire website.
Tripepi Smith has helped other associations modernize their web presence, including: Municipal Information Systems Association of California, California Mayors Coalition, Municipal Management Association of Northern California, San Gabriel Valley City Managers Association and the California Contract Cities Association.
“The return to in person conferences and events has been highly anticipated by all, and I’m thrilled to have this event be my first one back. I look forward to forming new relationships and expanding my knowledge on the matters that are currently affecting the local government sector,” added Karen.
The event will include a presentation by Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn and Santa Barbara County Supervisor Das Williams, and speaker sessions covering energy funding opportunities, social media, the shifting economy, public private partnerships, planning and zoning control and more.
