Tripepi Smith Assists the City of Fullerton with the Redistricting Process
The City of Fullerton concluded its redistricting process on April 5, 2022. Team Tripepi Smith conducted outreach on behalf of the City and its Advisory Redistricting Commission with Principal Jennifer Nentwig leading the charge and Junior Business Analyst Melanie Moore supporting the effort.
To reach Fullerton’s diverse communities, Tripepi Smith:
- Wrote and distributed six press releases
- Designed three flyers (in English, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese) promoting the city’s hearings and workshops
- Developed weekly multilingual social media posts advertising the redistricting process, upcoming hearings and various resources
- Conducted outreach to dozens of community groups via phone and email ahead of each hearing and workshop
- Facilitated three virtual community workshops to introduce the purpose of redistricting, demonstrate the city’s mapping tools, and gather community input
