Scripps College Taps TS to Assist with the Spring 2023 Magazine
Scripps College, a private women’s liberal arts college and member of The Claremont Colleges, has again called on Tripepi Smith to help facilitate the Spring 2023 edition of Scripps magazine. Tripepi Smith previously partnered with Scripps to proofread the Spring 2022 issue and manage the Fall 2022 issue.
“Scripps is appreciative for the continued support of Tripepi Smith,” said Director of Creative and Editorial Strategy Maureen Panos. “Their attention to detail, thoughtful planning and proactive communication style were instrumental in delivering a high-quality, timely fall issue.”
This spring, Principal Katherine Griffiths and Junior Business Analyst Kendall Lowery, herself a Scripps alumna, will provide the college with strategic guidance, project workflow management, editorial and creative direction, copyediting, writing and production support. Katherine also will write one of the magazine’s three feature articles, chronicling the inauguration of President Suzanne Keen this April.
Katherine and Kendall also will collaborate with other writers to help manage and organize content and to create a cohesive final product and message.
“As an editor, it is important to be respectful of each contributor’s style and voice while also maintaining brand consistency for Scripps College,” said Katherine.
Scripps is the fifth higher education institution among Tripepi Smith’s clients. The firm previously has partnered with Western University of Health Sciences, Claremont McKenna College, California State University San Marcos and California Institute of the Arts on strategic communication, branding, design and writing projects.
