Ryder will Speak at USC CMF State of the City/County Summit
Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith is scheduled to speak about social media at the USC Price: State of the City/County Summit on Thursday, April 25. This event is part of the Connect & Learn Series presented by the USC Price School City/County Management Fellowship (USC CMF).
During the first session of the day at 9:10am, Ryder and Kelly A. Trainer of Burke, Williams & Sorensen will host a discussion titled, “Best Practices Surrounding Social Media Platforms.” Ryder and Kelly will cover best practices for engagement on social media platforms and tackling the Public Records Act, the Brown Act and public forum issues.
“Today’s social media landscape remains an evolving frontier for local governments. Establishing best practices early on is essential,” stated Ryder. “Tripepi Smith has fine-tuned these practices, and I am happy to share our wisdom with the next generation of local government leaders.”
The summit will be held at the Radisson at USC Hotel, where USC CMF Board Members and CMF Fellows will assemble to analyze topics ranging from social media communications, healthy negotiations and trends in municipal districting.
