Tripepi Smith Completes First Year of Newsletter Services for Los Altos Hills
In 2023, the Town of Los Altos Hills enlisted the expertise of Tripepi Smith to breathe new life into their quarterly newsletter, aptly named “The Quarterly.” This redesign, spanning eight pages, had a dual purpose – to keep the community well-informed and to foster a sense of connection through key recaps, news updates, and details about upcoming events. Tripepi Smith has assisted in producing four editions of “The Quarterly,” each distributed to all residences within the Town.
The collaboration extended beyond “The Quarterly,” as Tripepi Smith was enlisted to assist in crafting the “City Manager Weekly,” a dynamic weekly e-newsletter tailored to keep residents informed of the latest developments.
“Tripepi Smith was a true partner in our efforts to enhance our community outreach efforts,” said City Manager Peter Pirnejad. “Their creative work on my quarterly mailed physical newsletter called the “Quarterly,” gave way to my weekly e-newsletter called the, “Weekly” and eventually lead to them creating my bi-annual physical recreation guide mailed to residents. The Weekly was designed to provide the right amount of information with more detail only a click away. Subscription has more than tripled since we started and consistently has over a 70% open rate. It feels great when you get something this right.”
Alyson Nichols, a Business Analyst at Tripepi Smith, has been an integral part of this journey for a year. Serving as the lead project manager on the account, her role includes copyright editing, print management and more.
At the helm of the initial redesign of “The Quarterly” was Creative Director Kevin Bostwick. Kevin reflected on this experience: “Collaborating with Los Altos Hills to design and execute their quarterly was rewarding. Working with their team was a pleasure, and I am thankful to have had the chance to help inform residents about crucial Town matters.”
