Junior Business Analyst Kendall Lowery Receives Fourth Byline for Scripps College Website
Building on her work developing content and managing tasks for Scripps magazine, Junior Business Analyst Kendall Lowery, an alumna of Scripps College, has written four alumnae profiles for her alma mater’s website.
Kendall, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Writing & Rhetoric, commenced each feature with personal outreach to learn more about how each subjects’ time at Scripps influenced their career path and accomplishments.
“It’s been lovely to form relationships with people I wouldn’t have known otherwise,” said Kendall, “I love learning about their cool and unexpected career trajectories and their experiences at Scripps. These features have allowed me to reflect on my own path as well.”
Kendall’s Alumnae Newsmaker subjects, chosen for their impact on their respective fields, included artificial intelligence ethicist Sneha Deo, screenwriter Alexandra Tran, author/educator Allison Dillard and Lydia Ringwald, a multi-hyphenate artist who donated a collection of rare film scripts to Scripps’ Denison Library.
“As a former editor-in-chief of The Scripps Voice, Scripps College’s bimonthly student newspaper, Kendall is a speedy and accurate writer,” said Tripepi Smith Principal Katherine Griffiths. “She is gracious about accepting feedback and embraces feedback as a learning opportunity in true Tripepi Smith #AlwaysBeLearning fashion.”
