About the California Contract Cities Association

CCCA is a collection of member cities united for a common cause. Born in 1957 as the direct result of the “Lakewood Plan”, CCCA grew from eight contracting or member cities to 70 member cities today with more than seven million residents. Membership growth remains one of the main priorities of the Association. CCCA serves as a rallying point for cities contracting for municipal services to ensure constituents receive the best service at the minimum cost. Through municipal seminars, education, and exchange of ideas and information, CCCA combines resources to influence policy decisions that affect member cities.
