Katherine Griffiths Presents to APRPREP Cohort on Managing Relationships
After an insightful presentation last summer on public relations strategy and messaging, Principal Katherine Griffiths, Accredited in Public Relations (APR), presented once again to a national APRPREP cohort on November 15, 2022.
APRPREP is an online study course that helps professionals prepare for their APR exam. The course includes 10 modules that center around “Knowledge, Skills and Abilities”, or KSAs, that equip participants for the public relations profession and to earn their APR. Throughout the course, candidates are guided by APR Facilitators, such as Katherine, who review their work, give feedback and provide study tips. Katherine became an APR Facilitator after completing an online curriculum including video tutorials, documents and a discussion forum.
Katherine’s presentation covered managing relationships. She shared her knowledge on how to build relationships, manage reputations, work with internal and external stakeholders and utilize media relations and networks.
“I am grateful to have been invited to speak to another cohort,” said Katherine. “My own APRPREP cohort was extremely instrumental in my passing of the APR exam. I am excited for the opportunity to speak on the importance of managing relationships, and to equip the next group of public relations professionals for their careers.”
