Tripepi Smith Executes the 2023 Annual Member Appreciation Dinner for the California City Management Foundation
In February 2023, the California City Management Foundation (CCMF) hosted its Annual Member Appreciation Dinner. Held at the Westin Hotel in Carlsbad, California, the event took place during the League of California Cities City Managers Conference and provided a space for supporters of city management personnel to gather. Tripepi Smith served as a vital component to the success of the event, supporting in both planning and execution.
Approximately 300 participants were in attendance, including both CCMF members and their sponsors. The Tripepi Smith team — comprised of Director Jennifer Vaughn, Business Analyst Charlie Mounts and Junior Business Analyst Kayla Cao — supported the event through social media promotions, email campaigns, invitations and RSVP management.

Ken Striplin, President of CCMF, presented numerous awards at the dinner including CCMF’s 2023 City Manager of the Year Award to Howard Chan of Sacramento, and the 2023 Corporate Sponsor of the Year award to Climatec. In his speech, he recognized CCMF’s Premier and Foundation Circle sponsors for their continued support in providing events like the dinner to promote resources and networking for their members.
