Katherine Griffiths to Present at Scripps College Lunch & Learn Program
Tripepi Smith Principal Katherine Griffiths will share her knowledge and experience with aspiring editors during Scripps College’s lunch and learn program on Tuesday, April 11.
An alumna of Denison University, with a degree in English literature and writing, Katherine is an award-winning writer and creative director. She has experience with many forms of copywriting and was the associate editor of The ANCHORA of Delta Gamma Fraternity and editor of CMC, the Claremont McKenna College magazine. Katherine also leads the Tripepi Smith team that has assisted with strategy, project management, creative direction, copyediting, writing and production for the past two editions of Scripps Magazine.
Scripps College’s lunch and learn program allows students to hear from leaders of various industries in a dynamic setting that fosters interaction and discussion. Attendees gain knowledge of how the arts apply in many settings and are prepared with skills and insights to contribute to the workforce upon graduation.
“I am excited to guide a discussion of magazine editing at Scripps,” said Griffiths. “Editing is a skill that requires constant improvement and I look forward to the mutually beneficial comments that will be shared throughout the event.”
