Town of Yucca Valley Taps Tripepi Smith for Measure Y and Z Newsletter
The Town of Yucca Valley tapped Tripepi Smith to create a comprehensive newsletter to inform and educate residents on how revenues from ballot Measures Y and Z have been reinvested in the community since 2016. The mailed newsletter marks one of the several outreach elements that make up the Yucca Valley and Tripepi Smith partnership.
Tripepi Smith Director Cameron Grimm, Business Analyst Skyler Addison and Junior Graphic Designer Alexis Mendez created a visually appealing and easily digestible newsletter, collaborating with the Town throughout the process to ensure its creative vision was brought to life.
“The Measure Y and Z mailer informs our residents about where tax dollars are being allocated and how the measures are impacting the community in an easy-to-understand format,” said Town Manager Curtis Yakimow. “The collaboration with Tripepi Smith resulted in a valuable resource that promotes transparency and strengthens our residents’ trust in the Town.”
Yucca Valley’s Measure Y is a local half-cent sales tax that funds public safety, infrastructure and quality of life programs. Measure Z is a local half-cent sales tax that reduces the cost of sewer assessments with a pass-through of sales tax revenues. The newsletter highlights the priorities of both measures, shares updates on how the funds are used to benefit residents and provides in-depth financial information on funded projects and services. The mailer features numerous infographics, resident testimonials and recent photos to visually showcase the information.
“It was a pleasure to work with the Town on this project,” shared Skyler. “Yucca Valley is a longtime Tripepi Smith client, and we are proud to have been part of educating residents on the Town’s measures in a visually appealing and engaging manner.”
Tripepi Smith has an ongoing contract with the Town of Yucca Valley to provide communication support, including social media management, graphic design and content creation.
