Western University Taps Tripepi Smith for Graphic Design, Branding Services
In Fall 2019, Western University of Health Sciences enlisted Tripepi Smith to complete a number of graphic design projects and provide production services for the Humanism Society, a donor recognition society for constituents that have included the university in their estate plans or who have created a lasting endowment at the university.
Team Tripepi Smith collaborated with University staff to form the society’s premiere branding. The star of the branding kit, which included a logo, graphic identity system, letterhead and email signature template, is the Humanism Society lapel pin. J. Brandt Recognition produced the pin from Tripepi Smith’s design, using soft enamel between a silver metal border in a die struck pin. Additionally, areas of the enamel are stressed while the metal borders are raised and polished, creating a distinguished pin that donors will be proud to wear.
Senior Business Analyst and Graphic Designer Melanie James lead the engagement, offering visioning, project management and design acumen while Business Analyst Bria Balliet offered creative direction.
“With every design, we hope to help our VIPs’ missions, goals and values shine,” said Melanie. “It was a pleasure working with Western University staff to tell the unique story of the Humanism Society while still honoring and remaining consistent to the Western brand.”
