The City of Indian Wells partnered with Tripepi Smith to produce its 2025 State of the City and Hospitality Awards event. Together with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, the City has transformed the annual address into a dynamic presentation featuring a live mayoral speech, pre-recorded video messages from each council member and live award presentations. The videos highlighted key priorities such as economic development, public safety, tourism, resident engagement and luxury amenities.

Tripepi Smith’s team — led by Principal Cameron Grimm and Senior Business Analyst Kaetlyn Hernandez, with support from Business Analyst Abby Romano, Junior Business Analyst Emma Totaro, and Videographers Nolan Voge and Josh Hernandez — played a central role in bringing the event to life. The team’s work included scripting each council member’s video, producing five feature videos with scenic City visuals and developing the mayor’s live remarks. The team also handled technical support during the event, managing audio-visual transitions to deliver a seamless experience for attendees.

“The State of the City is one of our most anticipated community events, selling out within days. It is key to setting the stage on how far our community has come and the potential we have for our future,” said Indian Wells City Manager Chris Freeland. “Tripepi Smith has been an invaluable partner in helping us bring it to life. Their team helps us celebrate our successes and supports our commitment to being transparent with the public about the challenges we face as a City.”

Tripepi Smith has supported the City of Indian Wells on its State of the City event since 2019. The ongoing partnership has helped elevate the content and the experience for attendees year after year.

“We are proud to continue supporting Indian Wells with their State of the City event,” said Senior Business Analyst Kaetlyn Hernandez. “The City’s continuous work to build an unmatched quality of life for residents and visitors deserves to be recognized to the highest degree.”
