CalChoiceCalifornia Choice Energy Authority (CalChoice) collaborated with Tripepi Smith to develop informative packets for its eight associate members, providing new council members with a comprehensive understanding of their respective community choice aggregation (CCA) programs and associated benefits.

“The orientation of new council members is vital, as they hold a pivotal role in managing the CCA programs of our associate members,” said CalChoice Executive Director Jason Caudle. “We appreciate Tripepi Smith’s recognition of the programs’ complexity and their assistance in creating valuable resources to enhance the understanding of local government officials.”

The customized packets offer detailed information about the history, organizational structure, customer program options, procurement details, key terms and contact information for each CCA program. They also provide explanations of CCA concepts, relevant legislation, program benefits (such as local control, renewable energy and community revenue) and an overview of CCA growth in California.

The content curation for these packets was carried out by Senior Business Analyst Karen Villasenor, Business Analyst Charlie Mounts and Junior Business Analyst Olivia Rizzuto. Senior Business Analyst Sara Madsen utilized her artistic and graphic design skills to ensure that the packets were visually appealing and easy to navigate in both print and digital formats.

“It was a pleasure collaborating with CalChoice on these packets, and we are thrilled to have provided invaluable resources that are already proving to be beneficial,” expressed Karen. “New council members can now easily familiarize themselves with these programs or conveniently refer to the packets when needed.”

Since CalChoice’s founding in 2017, Tripepi Smith has been a dedicated partner to the Joint Powers Authority (JPA), offering comprehensive support in marketing, communication and other essential services such as website management, newsletter curation, event planning, market intelligence, video production, graphic design and more.
