Tripepi Smith Delivers Bi-Weekly City Manager’s Updates for the City of American Canyon

  |   News   |   No comment

city of american canyon logoAs part of its ongoing partnership with the City of American Canyon, Tripepi Smith produces dynamic bi-weekly City Manager’s Updates (CMUs), delivered to 13,440 recipients through the City’s GovDelivery platform. These updates keep residents informed about local events, key City initiatives and important community news.

The CMU serves as a vital link between City leadership and the American Canyon community, featuring updates on upcoming public meetings, job opportunities, essential notices, local news highlights and community events. Each edition begins with a personal message from City Manager Jason Holley, fostering a direct and meaningful connection with residents. The average open rate over the last year was 67.6%, well above the industry average of 42.1% — demonstrating the community’s ongoing interest and engagement in this newsletter.

The Tripepi Smith team supporting the CMU includes Principal Jennifer Nentwig, Senior Business Analysts Kaitlyn Wu and Kalee Cummings, Business Analysts Amy Gallagher and Kayla Cao and Junior Business Analyst Avi Vemuri.

“Our City Manager’s Update is a cornerstone of our community engagement strategy,” said City Manager Jason Holley. “Tripepi Smith’s expertise in government communications has helped transform this digital newsletter into a comprehensive resource that truly resonates with our residents.”

A key recent enhancement to the CMU is the addition of the Mayor’s Corner, a dedicated section where American Canyon Mayor Pierre Washington shares insights and critical updates based on priorities he hears from residents. This feature has strengthened the connection between elected officials and the community by offering a personal, behind-the-scenes look at local governance. In recent editions, Mayor Washington has used this platform to discuss State of the City events, explain the City Council meeting process, clarify unique public safety programs and highlight the importance of civic participation.

“The City of American Canyon’s commitment to transparent and engaging communications makes this project especially rewarding,” said Principal Jennifer Nentwig. “As a longstanding client, we are thrilled to be able to support these types of key initiatives that bridge the gap between the City and the community it serves.”
