PivotPivot Charter School has relied on support from Tripepi Smith for four years to aid its marketing and outreach efforts. Now, in the midst of an important chartering process for each of its four resource centers, Pivot has turned to Tripepi Smith to sustain its outreach work, while addressing the additional workload of seeking new charters. The Tripepi Smith team is working with all stakeholders to ensure Pivot’s role and mission is understood by key decision-makers.

“Tripepi Smith goes above and beyond in their efforts to deliver a positive outcome for Pivot. As a single stop for our outreach and marketing goals, they not only provide a unified perspective on our needs, but offer critical strategic advice to our Board,” said Jayna Gaskell, executive director of Pivot Charter School. “True dedication to a cause is somewhat rare in a consulting firm, but we have found it in Tripepi Smith. They are arm in arm with us at every turn.”

Tripepi Smith Principal Nicole Smith manages the Pivot account. “Pivot is a wonderful client, not only because of the incredible work they do in the communities they serve, but also because of the passion and authenticity of Jayna, her staff, and the board of directors,” said Smith. “Working on Pivot is more than helping a client, it is about helping all those families who depend on Pivot for their children’s success. This is personal.”

Tripepi Smith was originally engaged to provide communications and marketing support for Pivot related to online marketing and ad campaign efforts, but the scope has expanded to include media relations, digital media support, collateral, branding and public affairs efforts at the behest of the Pivot leadership team.

Pivot Charter Schools offer a unique alternative educational experience for at-risk students that includes one-on-one support and an individualized curriculum. The online curriculum combined with site-based support from credentialed teachers gives students who are not experiencing success in traditional public school a chance to get their lives back on track and work toward graduation. Pivot operates four resource centers located in Santa Rosa, Chico, San Marcos and Corona.
