Tripepi Smith Aids Paramount Al Fresco Dining Program

  |   News   |   No comment

When COVID-19 forced California restaurants to cease indoor dining operations, the City of Paramount entrusted Tripepi Smith to help promote their temporary outdoor dining program: Al Fresco. A communications partner with the City since 2016, the Tripepi Smith team worked closely with the City to expedite the marketing of the new program with a goal of reaching both Paramount residents and restaurant operators.

“As a tightly knit community, Paramount prides itself on supporting our local restaurants and businesses when times are tough,” said Paramount Assistant City Manager Andrew Vialpando. “With the rapidly changing landscape brought on by COVID-19, we set out to adapt fast and deliver an effective Al Fresco program to help our local businesses survive. Tripepi Smith rose to the challenge to help City staff launch our Paramount Al Fresco program, which proved to be instrumental in helping our local economy survive.”

Led by Junior Business Analyst Sara Madsen, the team developed a new website and captured the Al Fresco arrangements through photography, video and drone videography. Highlighting three local restaurants, Senior Graphic Designer Kjerstin Wingert directed the photoshoots with video and drone work performed by Business Analyst Skylar Hunter. Sara executed the website build and graphic design work.

“Paramount city leaders are diligently working to aid their businesses and residents, and Tripepi Smith is proud to play a role in the effort” said Sara Madsen, Junior Business Analyst of Tripepi Smith. “We’re grateful to Paramount for allowing us to help their local businesses adapt and survive during the pandemic. Plus, we found some great new places to eat.”
