City of Sunnyvale Redistricts with Help of Tripepi Smith
The City of Sunnyvale’s City Council adopted its new election district map, recommended by the City’s Redistricting Commission, on February 22, 2022. The City called on Tripepi Smith to assist with its outreach efforts. The team, led by Principal Jennifer Nentwig and supported by Business Analyst Clare Burgess and Junior Business Analyst Melanie Moore, conducted various forms of outreach including scripting and animating an educational video about the redistricting process as well as weekly social media posts in English, Spanish and Chinese.
“This was our first redistricting process since first moving to a by-district election system in 2020. Having Tripepi Smith help with our outreach was a huge benefit,” said City of Sunnyvale Deputy City Manager Jaqui Guzmán.
“The City of Sunnyvale was organized and deeply committed to public outreach and input. It was a real pleasure working alongside the City and its staff,” said Jennifer.
