Saara Lampwalla Earns Drone Pilot License
Tripepi Smith has a new drone operator on the team in Business Analyst Saara Lampwalla.
Saara passed the Federal Aviation Administration’s Part 107 Remote Pilot License Exam on April 5, 2019. Her remote pilot certificate demonstrates her understanding of FAA regulations, operating requirements and procedures for safely flying drones.

To prepare for the exam, Saara completed an extensive unmanned aerial systems (UAS)/drone remote pilot test prep course designed to create proficient remote pilots. The program covered topics, including FAA airspace regulations, traffic patterns, weather theory, emergency procedures and more.
