Ryder and Mike to Discuss Setting Organizational Goals at MMASC Webinar

Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith and Director Mike Egan have been invited to present as part of the Municipal Management Association of Southern California’s (MMASC) 2021 webinar series.

“The pandemic not only changed the way agencies operate and provide services, but it has also proven to the public the importance of effective government in their communities,” commented Ryder. “With this deeper focus on local government, it’s crucial cities have strongly defined organizational goals that lay the foundation for the work of the agency. Attendees of our webinar will learn about the importance of this process and better understand how the process can both help their career and their public agency.”

‘Defining Success for your Public Agency: Establishing Organizational Goals’, scheduled for May 13 from 12-1 PM, will give MMASC members a deeper understanding on the benefits of establishing organizational goals, how to implement lessons learned from 2020, the impacts of goals on workplace culture and how to get involved in your Council strategy planning process.

“Having spent 20 years as a City Manager in two cities, I can attest to the significance of organizational goal-setting as it keeps an agency on track to succeed and increases productivity and transparency. Passing this knowledge along is critical to ensuring that all local governments are equipped to grow and progress. We are honored to be a trusted source of information for MMASC and to be given this platform,” said Mike.
