RHE Extends Tripepi Smith Engagement
The City of Rolling Hills Estates has extended its partnership with Tripepi Smith for Communications Support for an additional six months, which began on November 1, 2018. With strong staff support and a City Council who saw the positive impact of Tripepi Smith’s work, the Rolling Hills Estates City Council agreed to extend the contract.
The Council addressed the the partnership during its October 9th meeting, when Mayor Britt Huff commented, “I love the new look and the freshness of our outward communications. Tripepi Smith has more than fulfilled our goals and objectives in terms of the technical aspects […]. You’ve brought us into the 21st century.”
Initially, Rolling Hills Estates engaged Tripepi Smith in Fall 2017 to enhance transparency and community engagement within the city. The agreement called for Tripepi Smith to implement a website audit, create a communications plan, develop a communications calendar on a quarterly basis, manage the City’s social media platforms and facilitate a city council discussion on community engagement.
Moving forward Tripepi Smith will produce and film videos pertaining to the city, fortify the City’s photo and b-roll library, create a “Welcome to RHE” booklet that tells of the City’s story and vision and further enhance the City’s social media presence. Tripepi Smith Director Jon Barilone leads the engagement with the support of Business Analyst Bria Balliet and Junior Business Analyst Karen Villaseñor.
“Rolling Hills Estates had so many positive programs and initiatives, and our cooperation with City Staff has helped spread this information to all corners of the community,” said Jon. “Watching the City’s engagement and following grow naturally has been rewarding. City Staff has a lot of excellent information to share and is dedicated to keeping residents aware and involved.”
