TS Talent Solutions Finds New Director of Parks & Recreation for American Canyon
In search of a new Director of Parks & Recreation, the City of American Canyon tapped TS Talent Solutions for recruitment support.
“With our diverse natural surroundings, we wanted a Parks and Recreation Director who would take advantage of American Canyon’s unique location and attributes,” said City Manager Jason Holley. “TS Talent Solutions searched high and low to find talented applicants. We found an excellent new Parks and Recreation Director in Alexandra Ikeda, and I am confident she will deliver for our community.”
TS Talent Solutions Director Bob Hall, a retired city manager and experienced recruiter, took the lead on the recruitment. Bob has a strong and positive reputation among the local government community in California and brings his years of local government experience to the table.
While Bob took the lead on the recruitment activities, the TS Talent Solutions team focused on the visuals and language to drive recruitment through advertising and digital platforms.
The search process resulted in the hiring of Alexandra Ikeda to fill the Director of Parks and Recreation position. Ikeda is a 20-year parks and recreation professional with experience in environmental quality project management and program administration. She came to the City as the Recreation Department Manager at the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District for nearly four years.
