Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions Delivers on Finance Director Recruitment for City of Paramount
In September 2021, the City of Paramount enlisted Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions (TSTS) to aid in its recruitment for a new Director of Finance.
“The Finance Director position is one of the hardest to recruit for in municipal government,” said City Manager John Moreno. “Tripepi Smith is a longtime partner of the City of Paramount, so we knew we could count on them given their track record of high-quality work and outreach.”
After the three-month recruitment process, the City of Paramount hired Kim Sao to fill the Finance Director position. She previously served as the Deputy Director of Administrative Services/Finance for the City of South Gate for six years and as an Accounting Manager for the City of Carson for nearly eight years.
In its recruitment efforts, Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions created a brochure to explain the role and illustrate the characteristics of a successful candidate. TSTS also fielded and organized applications for the City’s ease of access.
