The City of Napa Enlists Team TS to Assist with Economic Recovery Videos
In October 2020, the City of Napa tapped Tripepi Smith for assistance developing four videos about the City’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. The videos, which highlight specific measures the City has taken to help residents and local businesses overcome the challenges presented by COVID-19, feature business owners, council members and chamber members speaking about the role the City of Napa played during the economic recovery process.
“Residents and businesses have adapted and made adjustments, and together we will get through this pandemic,” said City Manager Steve Potter. “One of the cornerstones of effective local government is transparency, and Tripepi Smith did an excellent job of creating engaging and digestible videos to keep our citizens informed about resources, priorities and developments in the City.”
Tripepi Smith dispatched five team members to work on the project. Director Jon Barilone and Senior Business Analyst Bria Balliet led the project with help from Junior Business Analyst Alexandra Applegate who was responsible for building the storyboard and video script. Director Cameron Grimm served as an additional liaison to the City of Napa during the project and she worked with Junior Business Analyst Jerald La Madrid to handle the video editing process.
“Our team is always excited to help cities keep their constituents up to date about the state of local affairs,” said Bria. “I admire the City of Napa for remaining open with the public as the City takes meaningful actions to address the evolving public health crisis.”
The final videos can be viewed here.
About the City of Napa
Napa is an old City by California standards, founded in 1847 as a jumping-off point for 49ers bound for the Gold Rush. Today, Napa is a vibrant and modern community with a respect for its colorful past. While yesterday’s jobs came largely in heavy industrial pursuits, today’s workforce is mostly white-collar and the economy is increasingly based on tourism. Napa enjoys low crime rates, high standards of living, clean air and nearly perfect weather year-round. As the County seat for one of the world’s Great Wine Capitals, the Napa name is synonymous with quality. We think that applies to our community and the people who make it what it is.
