Tripepi Smith has renewed its annual partnership agreement with the Municipal Management Association of Southern California (MMASC). This is the fifth year in a row that Tripepi Smith has sponsored MMASC; this connection is one numerous sponsorships that Tripepi Smith maintains each year as a strong partner across the California local government world.

MMASC is one of the oldest and the largest associations of its kind in the nation and is recognized by both the International City / County Management Association (ICMA) and the League of California Cities. Counting over 700 members within its numbers, the organization represents a myriad of local governments that serve an estimated 22 million residents. The membership is composed of city managers, HR directors, analysts, graduate students, interns, executive recruiters, private sector consultants, nonprofit managers, county administrators, and special district professionals representing local governments within a nine-county area of Southern California. MMASC was formed in 1953 to address the professional needs of local government employees and their private sector counterparts.

“MMASC seeks to add value and improve the knowledge of professional staff across cities in Southern California. We do this by bringing innovative speakers and programs to our membership and combine it with a network of peers to share and learn from each other. Our work could not be possible without partner support from firms like Tripepi Smith,” said Arabo Parsegheian, President of MMASC. “The leadership of MMASC always values the support and experience that Tripepi Smith offers to our organization. Tripepi Smith’s ability to help us tell our story with amazing photography and their professional headshot services have been top quality. There is little doubt they are one of the top partners to local government in California.”

Tripepi Smith provides a wide range of marketing and communication services for local governments and private companies throughout California. With a staff of 10 full-time people and nearly 70 clients served in the last twelve months, Tripepi Smith has grown aggressively in the last four years as clients have found value in their hybrid mix of marketing and public affairs powered by contemporary technologies.

“Tripepi Smith has experienced tremendous growth and that is directly a result of the trust placed in our people by clients. We recognize what a privilege it is to work in local government, so being a partner rather than a vendor is critical to us,” said Ryder Todd Smith, President at Tripepi Smith. “MMASC members tend to be from a generation that demands the kind of technical approach and digital communications we specialize in; we always enjoy assisting an audience who is ready to learn from our ideas and share them with their cities.”

In addition to MMASC, Tripepi Smith is a supporter of the League of California Cities, Municipal Management Association of Northern California, California City Management Foundation, Orange County City Manager Association, and the Association of California Cities – Orange County. Tripepi Smith principal Ryder Todd Smith is also a member of the International City/County Management Association.
