Lynwood Celebrates 2019 Accomplishments with Year-In-Review Video
The City of Lynwood brought Team Tripepi Smith on board to create a 2019 Year-In-Review video, highlighting its many accomplishments in the year of 2019 that improved quality of life for residents.
“The City of Lynwood is dedicated first and foremost to its residents,” said Jose Ometeotl, city manager of Lynwood. “2019 was a year of opportunity, growth and improvement for our community. We as a City worked hard to improve life for residents by tackling concerns and issues that have been at the forefront of residents’ concerns. Skylar and Saara and the rest of the Tripepi Smith team were great partners in delivering a video that accurately communicated all of the work we accomplished in Lynwood last year. This video is an important asset that showcases the City’s work and the Council’s accomplishments while also educating our residents and businesses.”
Business Analysts Skylar Hunter and Saara Lampwalla managed the video creation process from start to finish between December 2019 and February 2020, creating storyboards, conducting interviews, and filming and editing content for a polished deliverable. The video includes interviews from department directors and Jose, spotlighting impactful programs or community milestones.
“The story of Lynwood in 2019 is one of building strong foundations for the future,” Skylar commented. “Staff cares deeply about the community and works hard to improve it. Our interactions and conversations with the staff communicated a need to build a video that showcased the beauty of Lynwood balanced with the hard work of its staff and appreciation of its residents and businesses. It was a fantastic experience working with the City of Lynwood team.”
