Tripepi Smith Supports Lancaster Community Engagement Efforts

  |   News   |   No comment

In January, the City of Lancaster approached Tripepi Smith to support its communication outreach City of Lancaster logoefforts. The team, led by Senior Business Analyst Jen Nentwig, with the support of Director Jon Barilone and Junior Business Analyst Alexandra Applegate, was initially contracted to support emerging City priorities such as its Smart Cities initiative and its IMPACT community beautification program. However, the focus of the team’s efforts was quickly diverted with the rising COVID-19 crisis.

“The Tripepi Smith team’s ability to quickly respond to crisis and adapt to unprecedented situations made the firm an ideal ally for the City of Lancaster,” said Jennifer Seguin, Communications Manager at City of Lancaster. “With Tripepi Smith’s help we were able to successfully communicate urgent information and provide resources to our residents. Tripepi Smith lives up to their reputation as a trusted producer of quality work.”

Team Triepi Smith adjusted to support the City’s needs at the various stages of the crisis. In late February, with COVID-19 becoming an increasingly discussed topic, the team led the production of the City’s initial COVID-19 video. The team has also helped reorganize the COVID-19 website content to reflect the State’s regulation changes, as well as regularly update the COVID-19 case count numbers for the City. Recently, the team has been providing weekly COVID-19-related social media posts with information and resources.

In addition to COVID-19-related communications, the team has helped launch the City of Lancaster on Nextdoor and has developed content for the City’s quarterly OUTLOOK magazine.

“COVID-19 is a particularly difficult topic to navigate because we are learning alongside the scientific community about this novel virus. Yet, the City of Lancaster was dedicated to keeping their residents informed, healthy and safe,” said Jen. “We enjoy working alongside the City to achieve the community’s goals.”
