Karen Completes LinkedIn Advertising Course
Karen Villaseñor, Tripepi Smith Junior Business Analyst, recently completed “Advertising on LinkedIn,” a course offered through Lynda.com for training on LinkedIn’s advertising tools.
“At its core, LinkedIn is a social media platform for professionals. This type of audience makes LinkedIn a unique space for online advertising compared to other platforms like Facebook and AdWords,” said Karen. “Understanding LinkedIn’s advertising capabilities is essential for my ability to assist our clients who are looking to reach a professional audience especially around city economic development efforts.”
The course uses video tutorials and exercise files to provide an overview of LinkedIn’s marketing best practices and step-by-step walkthroughs of the platform’s ad types, targeting options, bidding and reporting. The course is divided into six chapters with a quiz at the end of each.
“At Tripepi Smith, we are always learning. By training our team members on available digital advertising platforms like LinkedIn, we are equipping our team to help our clients better communicate with their audiences,” said Ryder Todd Smith Tripepi Smith President. “With more than 546 million professionals on LinkedIn and some rather compelling targeting tools, the platform is an important option for our local government clients.”
