- Identifying the kind of community engagement you want;
- The pros & cons of using social media;
- The importance of listening to your community;
- Helpful features on Facebook, Nextdoor and Instagram;
- Addressing public comments; and
- Social media template resources and content ideas
“As someone who is an advocate for social media usage in local government, I enjoyed sharing my insights on the power of social media and how it can drive community engagement,” said Jon. “Tripepi Smith is always honored to be a guest speaker for LGSI. I hope the attendees walked away with a newfound understanding of the role social media can play in two-way communication with local communities.”
