Jen Nentwig Earns Facebook Blueprint Certification

Senior Business Analyst Jen Nentwig recently became Facebook Blueprint certified. Facebook offers an array of marketing products that allow businesses, public agencies and digital marketers to choose who and how they want to advertise their organization. By becoming Facebook Blueprint Certified, Jen demonstrates that she has the advanced skills to implement a strategy advertising campaign and use Facebook’s marketing products across Facebook and Instagram.

“Facebook dominates when it comes to communicating with residents. There’s no platform with as much reach,” said Jen. “The preparation for Facebook’s Digital Marketing Associate exam was intense, but it trained me to build sophisticated Facebook outreach campaigns that will help our clients distribute their information. Facebook can be a difficult platform to navigate, and each day it introduces new features and rules. Fortunately, with our work at Tripepi Smith, we have a cadre of people who work on it each and every day.”

There are six advertising formats that Facebook’s platforms support including images, videos, stories, messenger, or carousels. Many public agencies find Facebook and Instagram’s ability to boost posts useful because they can target specific geographic regions within their service areas and reach residents who do not yet follow their social media pages. Public agencies use facebook ads to ensure that important information regarding youth programs or emergency preparedness are widely seen. Widespread distribution of content is 50% of the critical Tripepi Smith communications formula: Content x Distribution – IMPACT.

To achieve certification, Jen passed a 105-minute online proctored exam. She was tested on concepts, such as using Facebook as a communications tool, establishing a platform presence, Facebook advertising and evaluating ad success. A passed exam demonstrates an advanced proficiency in Facebook, Instagram and Messenger ads.

“Facebook Blueprint certification is an impressive accomplishment. The material and exam are challenging, though the reward is great once it’s mastered,” said Nicole Smith. “We’re proud of Jen for this accomplishment and the way she embodies the ‘Always Be Learning’ culture of our team. Her clients, and our team as a whole, will benefit from having Jen as an additional Facebook advertising expert.

Jen’s accomplishment makes her the second Tripepi Smith teammate to become Facebook Blueprint certified after Business Analyst Karen Villaseñor became certified in 2017. In addition to Facebook Blueprint certification, Tripepi Smith is a Google Partner that grants the firm access to Google events, training and promotional offers. Team Tripepi Smith also has several teammates certified in running Google Ads, Twitter Promote, and LinkedIn ads. Jen’s certification is one more milestone in Tripepi Smith’s long history with social media advertising certifications.
