Indian Wells taps Tripepi Smith to Design Signature Scent Packaging
The City of Indian Wells tapped Tripepi Smith to assist in a new and unique project: designing the mini body kits of the City’s signature scent. The kits, which include body lotion, oil, wash, mist, cream and scrub, are memorable keepsakes for residents and visitors being sold at the Indian Wells Golf Resort.
“We are deeply proud of our status as a world-class residential and vacation destination and commemorating that status with a signature scent seemed right and fun!” shared City of Indian Wells Mayor Donna Griffith. “Tripepi Smith confidently took on our request and nailed the design. The project was very technical and the TS team was communicative, timely and enjoyable to work with throughout the process.”
Tripepi Smith Business Analyst Kaetlyn Hernandez and Junior Business Analyst and Graphic Designer Jenni Wechsler collaborated with City staff and the product manufacturer to create a simple yet eye-catching design for the body kit packaging. Using photos of the City and its key branding elements, the product card and bottle labels reflected the true beauty of the Indian Wells community.
“It was an exciting opportunity to work with the City of Indian Wells on this special project. The City has a world-class reputation, and this was one of the more unique projects I have gotten to work on,” shared Jenni. “These kits make Indian Wells further stand out for its creativity, and it was an honor to have played a role in its development.”
Tripepi Smith has been working with the City since 2018 on a variety of communications initiatives, such as social media management, article and newsletter content creation, video production and more.
