Tripepi Smith Grows Talent Pool with Emily Mason, APRTripepi Smith welcomed new talent to the team with Emily Mason, APR, joining the firm as a senior business analyst on March 30, 2020.

Emily comes to Tripepi Smith with eight years of communications experience, including a mixture of public relations, marketing and innovative digital strategies. She has worked in the non-profit, private and public sector, including several years serving in a community relations capacity with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). While at OCTA, Emily was able to usher in a new “digital era,” which included transitioning the agency to leveraging interactive online annual reports, social media campaigns with partners and community leaders, and gamification techniques.

“I am excited to bring my copywriting, creative and digital strategy skills to the table to help Tripepi Smith clients improve their communication and engagement with their communities,” said Emily. “During this challenging time, many people are looking to their local government bodies for guidance and hope, and I feel very humbled to have the opportunity to be a part of helping our clients with this.”

Emily thrives on collaborating with cross-functional teams to explore innovative and creative storytelling opportunities to navigate complex challenges and increase organizational reputation. This includes a wide variety of content creation, from crafting press releases and print collateral, to developing videos and implementing social media and influencer campaigns.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University, Fullerton with a focus in public relations and a minor in business administration, and achieved and maintains Accreditation in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America. Additionally, Emily is pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
