CupertinoTripepi Smith will deliver another year of monthly newsletters for the City of Cupertino following the renewal of the firm’s contract with the City.

“We’ve turned to Tripepi Smith for support on a number of communications projects over the past four years, and Ryder and his team have always delivered high-quality work,” said City of Cupertino Communications Officer Brian Babcock. “Tripepi Smith’s newsletter support helps us communicate effectively with our residents about useful, important, and timely information. Tripepi Smith’s graphic design skills are excellent and reflect a familiarity with local government that is important to the design process.”

Cupertino first engaged Tripepi Smith to produce a monthly newsletter in February 2018 and recently extended the contract through June 2020. Graphic Designer and Photographer Kjerstin Wingert performs graphic design services and layout for each newsletter, including custom artwork when applicable.

“Brian has a strong vision for what he wants to communicate in Cupertino to keep residents engaged and informed. The City makes significant investments in communications, but the results are impressive,” said Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith. “Tripepi Smith has worked on a variety of projects for the City that have honed our understanding of its character. Brian’s work on the content for the newsletter is impressive and we work each month to ensure the graphic design and layout matches the quality of the work he puts into it.”

Tripepi Smith worked on a communications assessment for the city in 2015, delivered a style guide in 2017, and updated Cupertino’s 2018 and 2019 Budget at a Glance reports. The firm also worked on Cupertino’s 2018 and 2019 Climate Action Plan reports.

“The Cupertino Newsletter is one of my favorite projects to work on,” said Kjerstin. “Brian provides quality content with engaging headlines that make the design process fun. This year we’re adding depth and variety to the content, and I’m looking forward to applying those changes to enhance the newsletter.”
