rydermmascThe team at Tripepi Smith is heading back to Indian Wells, CA in May with hundreds of other city officials to participate in the 56th California Contract Cities Association Annual Municipal Seminar (CCCA AMS). The Conference, chaired by CCCA President-Elect Gustavo Camacho of Pico Rivera, will focus on innovation and education.

TSA President Ryder Todd Smith will be speaking on a panel on city branding with Scott Ochoa, City Manager from Glendale. Scott is part of a new generation of city manager executives that cross the chasm from managing a massive organization to branding and economic development of an entire community.

The panel participation is Ryder’s second such participation at the CCCA Annual Municipal Seminar. Five years ago he joined a panel presentation on social media use by city governments, where he was joined by the Public Information Officer from the City of Tustin and the Deputy General Counsel for the City of Pasadena.

“Our annual trek to Indian Wells in May is a welcome homecoming of sorts for the Tripepi Smith team. We see clients and friends everywhere, and the opportunities to learn about and celebrate the “contracting model” do not get any better,” declared Ryder. “The AMS is a ‘must-do’ event for any organization interested in innovation in local government.”

Additional Tripepi Smith team members who will be at the CCCA AMS include Karalee Watson, Senior Business Analyst, Eric Hood, Photographer and Sara Appel, Junior Business Analyst.
