Clare Burgess Expands Tripepi Smith’s Google Analytics Expertise

Junior Business Analyst Clare Burgess is the latest Tripepi Smith team member to earn her certification in Google Analytics (GA). Like fellow teammates (Business Analysts Saara Lampwalla and Karen Villaseñor), Clare can leverage Google’s web-tracking tool to collect metrics and form insights on communications success.

“When you know how to use Google Analytics, you have the key to improved website functionality. It’s like having a superpower,” said Clare. “I am excited to use GA to help my clients broaden their online reach. I want to understand how the audiences we communicate with are perceiving our efforts and how we can pivot, if necessary, to improve our relations with them.”

Google Analytics is an industry-standard website analytics tool. It collects key performance indicators, such as page views, conversions, traffic sources, audience demographics and more. GA users can discern information, such as popular webpages and the profitability of various digital and email advertisement campaigns.

Clare completed Google Analytics Academy courses in “Google Analytics for Beginners” and “Advanced Google Analytics” to prepare for the timed, 70-question Google Analytics Individual Qualification. All three courses consisted of video instruction and practice exams. Google Analytics Academy also offered guided tours to explore and provide hands-on experience with the tool.
