The California City Management Foundation has engaged Tripepi Smith to provide video production services for the 2013 “Meet Your City Manager” video series. The foundation highlighted twenty city managers from across California in its ground-breaking series in 2012 and has engaged Tripepi Smith for continued production. The 2013 series will expand on the subject areas covered previously and bring an additional twenty city managers to the roster of participants.

“We got a lot of positive feedback from members last year about the series,” said Wade McKinney, President of CCMF and City Manager of Atascadero. “CCMF is dedicated to telling the story of city managers and supporting them, both personally and professionally. This innovative series is just one of many ways we are fulfilling our mission. Tripepi Smith has been a good partner on this project, so it only made sense to bring them back again for round two.”

The series is being co-sponsored this year by MuniServices and Keenan & Associates. “Keenan and MuniServices have made this production possible,” noted President McKinney. “I greatly appreciate their support of the city manager community.”

“Working with the city manager community is a lot of fun,” said Ryder Todd Smith, president of Tripepi Smith and Associates. “Sharing their observations on the profession with the world via video is a real honor, and I appreciate CCMF having us back for round two.”

Tripepi Smith will execute the interviews over a two-day period concurrent with the California League of Cities annual City Managers Department Meeting in San Francisco at the end of January 2013. The results of the videos will be shared on CCMF’s YouTube channel at In addition to video production services, Tripepi Smith also supports member communication, the weekly eNews generation, member-only content generation and website development services for CCMF.

CCMF is the only organization in California focused exclusively on the city manager community. With over 300 members, the foundation dedicates itself to supporting excellence in the city management profession. Learn more about CCMF at
