City of American Canyon PD logoThe American Canyon Police Department (ACPD) engaged Tripepi Smith to help produce its 2022 Annual Report. The annual report, published in March 2023, provides residents with important information on public safety, community resources and ongoing efforts to prevent crime within the City of American Canyon.

To begin the project, Tripepi Smith Senior Business Analyst Kaitlyn Wu and Business Analyst Kalee Cummings collaborated with ACPD to compile key highlights from 2022 and identify priority messages.

From there, Tripepi Smith Graphic Designer Sophie Doane took the lead on the report design. Sophie leveraged a combination of photographs and charts to display content in an eye-catching way that allows the reader to easily understand the presented information. The report’s engaging design captures the attention of residents and effectively conveys ACPD’s significant efforts and achievements throughout 2022.

“It was an honor to work with ACPD’s team once again,” stated Kaitlyn Wu. “We built on the foundation of our past reports, using our knowledge of their culture to create a document that recognizes the valuable community impact ACPD had in 2022.”

“Tripepi Smith’s work exceeded our expectations,” shared ACPD Police Chief Rick Greenberg. “ACPD is committed to protecting and improving American Canyon residents’ quality of life, and we want to ensure our community is engaged in that effort. Tripepi Smith was creative and responsive throughout the entire process, producing a well-organized documentation of ACPD’s work in 2022. We’re grateful for their help in telling our story.”

Tripepi Smith also worked on American Canyon’s 2022 State of the City Report. Both reports are a product of broader communications support provided by TS.
