Ryder to Speak on Alternative Work Schedules Panel at WCMA
President Ryder Todd Smith is slated to speak about alternative work schedules at the Washington City/County Management Association (WCMA) Summer Conference on Wednesday, August 14.
During the afternoon general session from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m., Ryder, City Manager of Covington Regan Bolli, City Manager of Bothell Jennifer Phillips, and Deputy City Administrator of North Bend Dawn Masko will host a panel titled, “Everybody’s Working for the Weekend: Alternative Work Schedules.” In this session, panelists will lead an interactive discussion about what options are available and in use within local governments, what tools can be used to successfully propose and adopt flexible work options and how challenges can be identified and overcome.
