City of American Canyon LogoIn January 2019, the City of American Canyon engaged Tripepi Smith on an ad hoc basis to provide a range of services, namely on-demand crisis communications support and an audit of their Vision website. In August 2019, the City extended the agreement through June 2022. Now, Tripepi Smith also provides ongoing strategic communications support and various ad hoc services.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with Tripepi Smith over the next few years,” said Jen Kansanback, City of American Canyon communications manager. “They have an impressive resume and a range of skills that can help our City execute its vision for improved communication with our residents.”

Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith and Director Jon Barilone lead the engagement, with support from Business Analyst Karen Villaseñor.

“Helping cities better communicate with residents, providing the online tools to help cities succeed and ensuring that a city has all the necessary tools in place during an emergency–that’s what everyone here at Tripepi Smith loves to do,” Jon commented. “It is always invigorating to work with a city like American Canyon that wants to consistently improve its communication processes and quality.”

Tripepi Smith’s crisis communications support entails that the marketing-technology-public affairs firm co-manage external communications with the City in the face of a disaster. Additionally, its ad hoc support spans social media and content production to communicate news, events, project developments and more to the American Canyon community.
