TS Attends NW Regional CM Conference
Tripepi Smith President Ryder Todd Smith recently headed north to Hood River, OR for the 2019 Northwestern Regional Managers Conference (NWRMC). Tripepi Smith was a silver-level sponsor of NWRMC 2019, which took place from April 30 to May 3.
Hosted by the Oregon City/County Management Association, NWRMC 2019 programming explored the ins and outs of crisis management in the Pacific Northwest. Ryder joined Oregon and Washington city and county managers for educational sessions, such as “Ethics with a Crisis Twist,” “Crisis Planning with Intergovernmental Partners” and “Next Generation of Civic Leaders,” learning more about issues facing local government to better service Tripepi Smith’s clients.
“Education on crisis planning and communications is critical to preserving our top priority: public safety,” said Ryder. “The Northwest Regional Managers Conference provided a venue for sharing ideas from the crises we’ve faced in the communities we serve these past few years. I always find it humbling to join these types of conversations. They are crucial to the advancement of our cities, counties and communities as a whole.”
Tripepi Smith has expanded its support of the northwest city manager community in the last year as it seeks to build business in Oregon and Washington.
